The Hidden-Behind-Books Home Office [Featured Workspace]

The Hidden-Behind-Books Home OfficeWhen you don't have a dedicated room for a workspace, you can either work in plain sight and deal with being disturbed...or find a clever solution like hiding your office in plain sight. Today's featured workspace hides behind library walls.

French interior design firm Du c?t? de chez vous built this custom multi-functional bookcase/desk/storage system that provides privacy?and space for two desks?in the living room.

You could adapt this strategy using half-height bookshelves or other storage furniture to carve out your own "library full of tricks."

If you have a workspace of your own to show off, throw the pictures on your Flickr account and add it to the Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Pool. Include some details about your setup and why it works for you, and you just might see it featured on the front page of Lifehacker.
